My #1 rule applies in many different aspects of life and I believe it is important because it allows more opportunities to be fulfilled-as well as being challenged daily. By not getting comfortable in one situation or where you stand in life, you are pushed to grow, learn and experience much more. This rule can also be helpful at home. For example, say you come home from school with homework and chores awaiting you; if you decide to sit down and relax for a while (although there is nothing really wrong with that) it makes it harder to get back up and accomplish what needs to be done. You tend to become lazy, procrastinate and/or waste time. I advice not to stay in your comfort zone but to strive and reach for more. Sometimes when we become too adjusted, any little change can be intimidating-preventing us from doing certain things. A lot of the time this can cause regret. This is why I believe people should follow my #1 rule. We should all get up, move, explore, etc. because it might just take us where we need to be.
